Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals UK & Ireland is seeking a qualified electrician to join our team and ensure equipment is maintained to the highest standards while meeting customer expectations. Based at client sites, you will perform electrical installations in line with BS7671 and undertake compliance testing.

You will diagnose faults, maintain LV systems, and work either independently or as part of a team. A UK driving licence and Level 3 qualification are essential, with additional certification desirable.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or AM2 completed or in progress.
• BS7671 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Electrical principles and installation methods.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Electrical installation on client site infrastructure in line with BS7671.
• Compliance testing of new and existing electrical systems.
• Fault finding and maintenance of LV electrical systems.
• Working independently or as part of a team on client sites.

What are we looking for?

Essential Requirements

• Recognised Level 3 qualification (NVQ Level 3 or AM2) or in process of completing
• BS7671 - 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• Electrical principles and installation methods
• Full UK manual Driving license

Other Requirements

• Gold Card (Desirable)
• 2391 - 52 Award in Initial Verification and Periodic Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations or equivalent (Desirable)
