Electrical Team Leader
37.5 hours
South London
25.12 per hour via umbrella

Our client in South London is Looking for an experienced Electrical Team Leader who will be responsible for the management and supervision of qualified and non-qualified trade staff in the provision of planned maintenance, reactive maintenance & repairs service to the hospital.

Responsibilities:

• Compilation of statistical records and information
• Participate in recruitment of trade staff
• Authorise holiday and ensuring adequate amount of staff left on site
• Ensures quantity, quality and compatibility of goods received is consistent
• Ensures reactive maintenance defect requests are efficiently prioritised, issued and completed without undue delay
• Participates in the Estates on-call rota as required

Essential Qualifications:

• Knowledge of electrical systems (to BS7671 & HTM standards) and building management systems will be essential for this role.
• NVQ-3 or equivalent in relevant trade
• Full clean driving licence
• Knowledge of the compliance demands in healthcare premises
• Knowledge of all associated trades
• Good communication skills
• To have basic computer skills
• Must have experience of managing staff
• Knowledge of Health & Safety procedures and safe working practices

Health & Safety qualification in one of the following:
-Abrasive wheel certification
-Safe Use of Ladders
-Safe use/work from scaffold towers (PASMA)
-COSHH
-Manual Handling
-CSCS card
