Job summary

HDR is seeking an Electrical Team Lead (Associate Director) in Manchester to lead a team of up to eight engineers within our Building Engineering Services group, driving design excellence and project delivery.

The candidate will contribute leadership, ensure high standards of safety and quality, and align with HDR's employee-owned culture and global impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience.
• Professional registration, license or certification may be required based on role.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments.
• Good leadership and organizational skills.
• Active participation in employee-owned culture is a must.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the responsibility for operations of respective business class including staff development, resource management, timecard monitoring, and quality control
• Assist in ensuring all work is planned, organised, controlled and coordinated with Project Managers
• Assist in selection, training, development and management of technical personnel
• Be prepared to manage a group of up to 8 members of technical staff within respective business class
• Management of contingent workers
• Continue to perform other duties as required by current role and job description
