Electrical Systems Design Engineer

Role Responsibilities

We are currently seeking hardworking, resourceful candidates to join our team. The Electrical Systems Design Engineer will be responsible for developing control system solutions, delivering electrical drawings, and managing procurement scheduling of equipment and components.

This role involves working alongside other control system project engineers. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, a practical problem solver with good communication and written skills, well-educated with relevant qualifications or experience in a similar environment.

Position Details
  • Full-time (08:30-17:15 Monday to Thursday, 08:30-16:00 on Fridays)
Responsibilities
  • Design control system solutions including PLCs, networks, SCADA/HMI, and telemetry systems.
  • Create and configure system design documentation, network architecture, electrical drawings, and general arrangements.
  • Assist in producing detailed design specifications such as FDS and SDS.
  • Identify and schedule procurement of electrical equipment and instrumentation.
  • Manage and complete site surveys.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with electrical design using EPlan, AutoCAD, or similar software.
  • Knowledge of automation and control system design.
  • Knowledge of control panel design and manufacturing.
  • Clean UK Driving License and eligibility to work in the UK.
