Adsyst Automation Ltd in the UK is seeking an Electrical Systems Design Engineer to join our team in Sandhurst. You will develop control system solutions and deliver electrical drawings.

The role involves design retrofit of panels, project collaboration, and site surveys; travel to client sites in the South East may be required. Full-time, 37.5 hours.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in electrical design using EPlan, AutoCAD or equivalent.
• Knowledge of automation and control system design.
• Knowledge of control panel design and manufacture.
• UK driving licence - Some site visits for surveys required.
• Must be eligible to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Design of control system solutions including PLC’s, networks, SCADA/HMI and telemetry systems.
• Design Retro-Fitting of electrical panels
• Authoring and configuring system design documentation, network architecture drawings, electrical drawings and general arrangements.
• Aiding in the production of detailed design specifications including Functional Design Specifications (FDS) and System Design Specifications (SDS).
• Identification and procurement scheduling of electrical equipment and instrumentation
• Managing and completing site surveys

Electrical Systems Design Engineer

We are currently seeking hardworking, resourceful candidates to join our dynamic team as an Electrical Systems Design Engineer.

Role Responsibilities:

We are currently seeking hardworking, resourceful candidates to join our dynamic team as an Electrical Systems Design Engineer.

The Electrical Systems Design Engineer will be responsible for developing control system solutions, delivery of electrical drawings, identification and procurement scheduling of equipment / components and Design Retro-fitting of electrical panels.

This role will be working alongside other control system project engineering staff. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, a practical problem solver with good communication and written skills, well-educated with relevant qualifications or previous experience in a similar environment.

This role willbe based at our new Sandhurst office, you must be willing to occasionally travel to client sitesaround the South East for surveying purposes if required.

Full-time position: 37.5 hrs p/w; 08:30-17:15 Monday to Thursday and 08:30-16:00 on Fridays

Duties include:

• Design of control system solutions including PLC’s, networks, SCADA/HMI and telemetry systems.
