Job summary

Bimplus is seeking an Electrical Supervisor for water and wastewater infrastructure projects in Oxfordshire. The role involves hands‑on supervision of electrical works on site, ensuring safety, quality and adherence to programme on large utility projects.

You will lead cable installation and containment activities, coordinate with engineers and subcontractors, and manage site paperwork while maintaining clear communication with project teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience supervising electrical installation works.
• Strong understanding of electrical installation practices, especially cable installation.
• Ability to lead and motivate site teams while remaining hands‑on.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• A proactive approach to problem solving.
• Good understanding of health, safety and quality requirements.
• Ability to manage site paperwork and work to project programmes.
• Relevant electrical qualifications and site‑based supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervising electrical installation works, including cable installation, containment and associated works.
• Providing hands‑on leadership and technical support to site teams.
• Ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
• Coordinating electrical activities with other site disciplines and the wider project team.
• Monitoring progress against the programme and proactively addressing any potential delays.
• Identifying issues on site and developing practical solutions to keep works progressing.
• Completing all relevant site paperwork, permits, inspections, records and documentation.
• Ensuring installations are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Supporting testing, commissioning and handover activities where required.
• Maintaining clear communication with the project management and engineering teams.
