Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking an Electrical Supervisor/Tester to oversee on-site electrical activities on commercial projects. You will lead site teams, coordinate with clients and stakeholders, and ensure safety and quality from inception to completion.

The role requires SSSTS/SMSTS and 2391 qualifications, strong knowledge of electrical installations, and excellent leadership and communication skills. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Electrical Tester/Supervisor, ideally on commercial projects.
• SSSTS or SMSTS certification is essential.
• 2391 electrical qualification is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical installations and project management.
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of projects from inception to completion.
• Coordinate on-site electrical activities, ensuring compliance with plans and safety.
• Lead site teams, including subcontractors and direct workforce.
• Ensure projects are on time, within budget and to high standards.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and stakeholders to maintain relationships.
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure HSE compliance (SSSTS/SMSTS essential).
• Prepare and maintain project documentation (risk assessments, method statements, progress reports).
