Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor for a major mixed-use development in the UK. You will oversee electrical installations, manage subcontractors and site teams, and ensure works align with drawings, specs and the project schedule.

You will monitor progress, uphold high safety standards, and coordinate with other trades to support planning, commissioning and handover activities. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Gold ECS card
• SSSTS and 18th edition training
• Experience as Electrical Supervisor on commercial, residential or mixed-use projects
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specs
• Experience supervising subcontractors and site teams
• Strong health & safety knowledge and construction procedures
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Relevant electrical qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate electrical installations across the development.
• Manage electrical subcontractors and site-based electrical teams.
• Ensure works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications and programme requirements.
• Monitor progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager/Site Manager.
• Coordinate electrical works with other trades and site management.
• Carry out regular quality inspections and ensure installations meet required standards.
• Ensure all works are completed safely and in accordance with RAMS and site procedures.
• Assist with planning, sequencing and coordination of electrical activities.
• Identify and resolve technical and site-based issues.
• Liaise with engineers, subcontractors, consultants and other project team members.
• Maintain accurate site records and ensure relevant documentation is completed.
• Support commissioning, testing, snagging and handover activities.
