Job summary

18 Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to cover Southend-on-Sea and surrounding Essex areas. You will lead electrical operatives, ensure high standards of workmanship, and deliver works safely and compliantly.

The role requires 2391, NVQ Level 3, AM2, and 18th Edition, with relevant supervisory experience and a full UK driving licence. You will oversee day-to-day operations, perform inspections, and ensure adherence to current regulations and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an Electrical Supervisor role.
• Strong knowledge of electrical testing, inspection and certification.
• Experience supervising electrical operatives and subcontractors.
• Excellent knowledge of current electrical regulations and industry best practices.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Electrical Supervisor to join our growing team covering Southend-on-Sea and surrounding Essex areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrical professional with strong supervisory experience to lead electrical operatives, maintain high standards of workmanship, and ensure all works are delivered safely, compliantly, and to the highest quality standards.

The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day electrical operations, provide technical support to engineers, carry out quality inspections, and ensure compliance with current regulations and company procedures.

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience in an Electrical Supervisor role.
• City & Guilds 2391 Testing & Inspection
• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation
• AM2 Qualification
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671) preferred.
• Strong understanding of electrical testing, inspection, fault finding, and certification.
• Experience supervising electrical operatives and subcontractors.
• Excellent knowledge of current electrical regulations and industry best practices.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable Qualifications

• SSSTS or SMSTS.
• ECS/CSCS Card.
• NICEIC Qualified Supervisor experience.
• Experience working within social housing, local authority, commercial, or property maintenance contracts.
