Job summary

Axis CLC is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead our electrical team on a Social Housing contract across the UK. You will act as the Qualifying Supervisor, ensuring certification is accurate, and NICEIC registration is maintained while mentoring electricians and apprentices.

You will oversee compliance with IET Wiring Regulations, RAMS, and safety standards, while supporting planning, audits, and client communications to deliver high-quality, safe electrical works.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations certification.
• 2391 or equivalent Testing & Inspection qualification.
• Experience as Qualified Supervisor or EQS within social housing, maintenance, or contracting.
• Strong understanding of NICEIC processes and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and mentoring skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Strong Health & Safety awareness and RAMS understanding.

Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical works across social housing contract and ensure compliance with IET, Safety legislation and NICEIC standards.
• Act as NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor, reviewing and signing off electrical certification.
• Maintain NICEIC registration and readiness for annual assessments.
• Provide technical guidance to operatives, supervisors and clients on electrical installations.
• Review test certificates, inspection reports and remedial documentation for quality.
• Conduct site audits and inspections to verify compliance and workmanship.
• Mentor electricians and apprentices, driving performance and first-time fix rates.
• Support labour allocation, productivity tracking and resource planning to meet targets.
• Collaborate with clients and contract managers to deliver safe, high-quality work.
