Job summary

Curve Recruitment is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee the electrical team on projects in Cambridge and surrounding areas. The role focuses on delivering on time and within budget, supervising electrical installations across sectors including commercial, schools, hospitals and MOD, and ensuring HSE compliance.

The successful candidate will manage on-site labour, coordinate subcontractors, run toolbox talks, inspect installations and resolve complex issues while liaising

Qualifications

• Qualified electrician with extensive experience supervising electrical teams on commercial building services projects.
• Proven ability to manage on-site labour and subcontractors while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to plan, schedule and deliver projects to deadlines.
• Experience inspecting installations and resolving complex electrical issues.
• Familiarity with RAMS, site progress meetings and client liaison.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage on-site electrical labour and coordinate subcontractors, checking RAMS and highlighting issues.
• Lead toolbox talks with site team and participate in progress meetings.
• Inspect and assess electrical installations to ensure high quality and compliance.
• Diagnose and resolve complex electrical installation issues.
• Liaise with Project Managers to address issues and ensure smooth delivery.
• Maintain relationships with subcontractors, clients and internal teams.
• Order materials, plant and equipment to meet programme requirements.
• Ensure works comply with current electrical regulations and health and safety standards.
