Job summary

Selwood Limited in the UK is seeking a proactive Electrical Supervisor to oversee day-to-day electrical and mechanical support services in our workshop. You will plan, organise, and prioritise work, lead a team of Electrical/Mechanical Assemblers, and ensure high standards of safety, quality and efficiency.

The role requires a proven track record in electrical supervision, experience with test certificates, and a strong health and safety culture.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in supervising electrical functions with high safety standards.
• Experience completing electrical testing and signing off test certificates.
• Strong health and safety culture with delivery-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organise and prioritise schedules and resources to maximise productivity while ensuring safe, compliant electrical support.
• Ensure electrical test certificates are completed accurately in line with BS7671 regulations, achieving first-time pass results.
• Manage a team of Electrical/Mechanical Assemblers.
• Prioritise regional electrical services and safety inspection schedules to minimise overdue tasks.
• Ensure Electrical and Mechanical installations in control containers are tested per IEE regulations.
• Provide regular updates on performance, safety, compliance and team development.
