Job summary

Axis, part of Axis CLC, seeks an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead electrical teams on two social housing contracts in Kent and Sussex. You will act as Qualifying Supervisor, ensure compliance, review certifications, and mentor electricians and apprentices.

You will manage NICEIC registration, provide technical support, and collaborate with contract managers to deliver safe, high-quality work while upholding RAMS and safety practices.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations certification essential.
• 2391 or equivalent Testing & Inspection qualification essential.
• Experience as Qualified Supervisor or EQS in social housing maintenance/contracting.
• Strong knowledge of NICEIC processes and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical works ensuring compliance with IET Wiring Regulations, Health & Safety laws, and NICEIC rules.
• Act as NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor, reviewing and signing off electrical certificates.
• Maintain NICEIC registration and readiness for annual assessments.
• Provide technical guidance to operatives, supervisors, and clients on installations.
• Review test certificates, inspection reports, and remedial docs for accuracy.
• Conduct site audits and quality checks to verify workmanship.
• Mentor electricians and apprentices, improving performance and first-time fix rates.
• Support labour allocation, productivity tracking, and planning.
• Collaborate with clients to deliver safe, high-quality work.
• Promote Axis Health & Safety culture and RAMS compliance.
• Identify and report compliance issues promptly.
