Job summary

The Green Recruitment Company seeks an Electrical Supervisor to oversee installation, inspection and testing of electrical systems on UK projects. This hands-on role is ideal for an experienced electrician with leadership capability, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.

You will supervise site activities, support project delivery, and ensure electrical works meet required standards. A strong focus on planning, RAMS, and certificates is essential for successful handovers.

Qualifications

  • Must hold C&G L3 Electrotechnical Qualification.
  • BS7671:2018 Wiring Regulations are essential.
  • C&G 2391 (or equivalent) Inspection and Testing qualification required.

Responsibilities

  • Support Project Managers to plan and deploy resources for electrical installation works.
  • Manage the daily planners for Electrical Installers.
  • Produce take-off sheets from designs and procure materials.
  • Ensure all installations are compliant with BS7671 and company processes.
  • Compile, review, and challenge RAMS and Programmes of Work.
  • Carry out Health & Safety Audits and Toolbox Talks on site.
  • Prepare, review, and sign off electrical installation certificates to NICEIC standards.
  • Assist Project Managers in compiling handover documentation for each project.
  • Any other reasonable request aligned with the role from Operations Manager.

Job description

TGRC has partnered with a leading UK Independent Connection Provider (ICP) specialising in EV charging infrastructure. The business delivers end-to-end solutions that are helping to accelerate the UK’s transition towards a more sustainable, net-zero future.

As part of their continued growth, they are looking to appoint an Electrical Supervisor to oversee the installation, inspection, and testing of electrical systems across projects throughout the UK.

This is a hands‑on role suited to a qualified and competent electrician who combines strong technical expertise with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering work to the highest standards. You will play a key role in supervising site activities, supporting project delivery, and ensuring that all electrical works are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with the required standards.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Support Project Managers to plan and deploy resources for electrical installation works.
  • Manage the daily planners for Electrical Installers.
  • Produce take‑off sheets from designs and procure all relevant electrical installation materials.
  • Ensure all installations are compliant with BS7671, using your expertise alongside company systems and processes to manage quality.
  • Compile, review, and challenge site‑specific RAMS and Programmes of Work.
  • Carry out Health & Safety Audits and Toolbox Talks with installers on site.
  • Prepare, review, and sign off electrical installation certificates in line with NICEIC or equivalent standards.
  • Assist Project Managers in compiling all required handover documentation for each project.
  • Any other reasonable request aligned with this role as directed by the Operations Manager.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in electrical supervision and leading a team.
  • Experience working on commercial or industrial electrical installations.
  • C&G L3 Electrotechnical Qualification
  • C&G BS7671:2018 Wiring Regulations
  • C&G 2391 (or equivalent) Inspection and Testing
  • Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • JIB/CSCS Card
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • SSSTS
  • AP Low Voltage
  • Experience with EV charging systems (advantageous but not essential)
