Job summary

Meridian is looking for an Electrical Supervisor to join a growing industrial M&E contractor near Oxford. You will oversee installation of industrial electrical systems across varied sites, read drawings, coordinate with trades, and ensure compliance on site. Overtime opportunities and away-from-home allowances boost earnings.

Gold JIB card, BS7671 18th Edition, and SSSTS/SMSTS are required, along with a full UK driving licence and willingness to stay away when needed. Immediate start available.

Job description

Electrical SupervisorMeridian are working with a growing industrial M&E contractor based near Oxford that are looking for an Electrical Supervisor to join their permanent team. Many of their projects are based within the region so will offer a variety of industrial sites such as hospitals, pharmaceutical plants, water treatment works, factories, engineering facilities, manufactories, and power plants. There is plenty of overtime and additional earning opportunities, so if you're looking for a permanent position with a variety of projects and excellent earning potential then this opportunity is perfect for you!

Duties will include (but are not exclusive to):

• Overseeing and Supervising the installation of industrial electrical equipment on various sized projects and sitesLead and co-ordinate Electrical installations onsiteWorking alongside other trades, subcontractors, and permanent staff on functional industrial facilitiesAbility to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and cable schedules. Red line and update drawings accordingly based off project progressionWork closely with management staff to help project sign offs by assisting with the end of project reportsReporting progress to management teams to assist them with their technical support on compliance, reports, and project paperworkHelp to co-ordinate materials and procurement processes based on onsite usageFollowing site induction, HSE, and compliance procedures at all times to ensure your own and other people's health & safetySupport commissioning and fault finding of electrical and ICA systemsKeeping up to date with industry regulations and HSE governing bodies to ensure compliance and
