£45,443.78 per annum + £1,500.00 bonus

40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

We are advertising this Electrical Supervisor role on behalf of a national facilities management client, seeking an experienced individual to lead the electrical team.

Job Description
  • To maintain and repair a range of electrical, mechanical plant and equipment within retail outlets for a key national customer in a cost effective and efficient way.
  • Comply with company health and safety policies and procedures. Undertaking regular planned store visits, completing PPM tasks and minor repairs as requested by the customer.
  • Work will include multi‑skill elements including basic plumbing, joinery and building repairs as well as core electrical tasks.
  • Ensure under performance on KPI's is understood and action plans are in place to drive improvement.
  • Support the Divisional Account Manager on all technical / electrical issues.
  • Complete specified reports and compliance documentation and act on any issues raised.
  • Participate in the recruitment and selection process of vacancies.
People Responsibility

This role is currently responsible for managing a team of electricians (around 5). As the business grows the team size may increases accordingly.

Qualifications
  • You must be a fully qualified electrician with City and Guilds 236 Parts 1 and 2 Electrical Installation or NVQ Level 3.
  • City and Guilds 2391 Testing and Inspection is desirable for this role but not an essential qualification.
  • You must have an 18th edition certificate.
  • You must have a valid UK driving licence.
  • You must have a flexible attitude to work.
  • This role also includes a call‑out rota of 1 in every 4 weeks covering evenings and weekends.
