Job summary

Options Energy Group is seeking a skilled Supervisor to lead Cable Jointers across the Thames Valley, based in Reading, Slough or West London. The role oversees day-to-day operations, safety, and client service, with a company van, overtime and standby benefits. Salary ranges from £45,000 to £55,000 per year.

The successful candidate will manage teams, plan connections, and uphold high standards of safety and quality while delivering excellent service to clients and customers.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence.
• iDNO / DNO operational authorisation.
• NRSWA Operative or Supervisor.
• Experience managing teams in an operational environment.
• Knowledge of Distribution Electrical Networks.
• Experience with LV faults.
• SMSTS or IOSH.
• Knowledge of ESQCR and Electricity at Work requirements.

Responsibilities

• Leading, coaching and developing Cable Jointers and operational teams.
• Planning new connections, faults and asset maintenance.
• Supporting teams with LV fault finding and network restoration.
• Carrying out site audits and ensuring consistently high standards of Safety, Quality & Technical Compliance.
• Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with client specifications and contractual requirements.
• Supporting LV testing and switching where appropriately authorised.
• Ensuring teams are trained, equipped and competent to undertake their work.
• Reviewing operational drawings, records and completion documentation.
• Making commercially sound decisions whilst maintaining customer service.
• Working closely with our HSQE and operational leadership teams.

Options Energy Group is growing — we're looking for a Supervisor to join our team and lead our Cable Jointers across the Thames Valley.

Location - Reading | Slough | West London

Salary Range – £45,000 to £55,000

This isn't just a job overseeing teams.

What will you be doing?

You'll be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of our electrical Jointing teams, making sure the right people are in the right place, with the right equipment, materials and information to get the job done safely and efficiently.

Your role will include:

• Leading, coaching and developing Cable Jointers and operational teams
• Planning new connections, faults and asset maintenance
• Supporting teams with LV fault finding and network restoration

Ultimately, you'll be the person making sure our teams are safe, productive, compliant and delivering right first time.

Who are we looking for?

You could already be an experienced Electrical Supervisor / Team Manager – OR you could be an experienced electrical craftsperson ready to take the next step.

• Full UK driving licence
• Current or previous iDNO / DNO operational authorisation
• Currently or recently qualified as NRSWA Operative or Supervisor
• Experience managing teams in an operational environment
• Good knowledge of Distribution Electrical Networks
• Experience with LV faults
• SMSTS or IOSH
• Knowledge of ESQCR and Electricity at Work requirements
