Job summary

Dutton Recruitment is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee electrical installation, maintenance and repair works around Gloucester and Worcester. You will lead electrical teams, ensure compliance with BS 7671 and safety regulations, and coordinate delivery of works safely and efficiently.

You will supervise day-to-day activities, mentor electricians, interpret drawings and certify works using NICEIC certification tools.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 electrical qualification.
• City & Guilds 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (#removed#).
• City & Guilds Inspection and Testing (2391)
• ECS Gold Card.
• Asbestos Awareness training (CPD certified).
• Full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with site managers and trades to plan and schedule electrical work.
• Supervise day-to-day electrical activities ensuring safe practices and high workmanship.
• Lead, support and mentor electricians and electrical technicians.
• Monitor progress, resolve technical issues and keep works on schedule.
• Ensure compliance with BS 7671, safety regulations and client quality procedures.
• Carry out site inspections, safety audits and quality checks.
• Check and sign off electrical certificates using the NICEIC Online Certification System.
• Maintain records of completed works, materials and safety incidents.

ELECTRICAL SUPERVISOR

Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to work with our client, overseeing electrical installation, maintenance and repair activities, including reactive and planned maintenance works. The successful candidate will lead electrical teams, ensure compliance with relevant regulations and quality standards, and coordinate the delivery of work safely and efficiently.

Salary: £43,000-£47,000 per annum | Company van and fuel card | Company pension

This will be working around the Gloucester and Worcester areas.

Key Responsibilities

Skills and Experience

• Minimum 2 years' experience as an Electrical Supervisor.
• Proven experience supervising electrical teams in construction or industrial environments.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Sound knowledge of electrical systems, standards and safety requirements.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and safety procedures.
• Experience using NICEIC online certification software.

Desirable

• Good IT skills, project scheduling experience, social housing or planned works experience, and a current DBS check is required (but client will put through if necessary).

Some flexibility is required for evening or occasional weekend working and travel.
