Job summary

Reliable Contractors is seeking an experienced White Hat Electrical Supervisor to oversee electrical delivery teams at Hinkley Point C, ensuring safe, compliant execution within a regulated nuclear-construction environment.

This role requires strong leadership, disciplined safety behaviours and the ability to coordinate multi-trade operations while maintaining full compliance with nuclear standards, ECS requirements and site governance.

Qualifications

  • Experience supervising electrical teams on large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Understanding of nuclear-regulated environments and compliance protocols.
  • Ability to lead teams, manage workflow and uphold safety culture.
  • Right to work in the UK and eligibility for HPC onboarding and training.

Responsibilities

  • Supervision of electrical teams across HPC work zones.
  • Leading daily briefings, toolbox talks and coordination meetings.
  • Ensuring all electrical works comply with nuclear safety rules and QA processes.
  • Reviewing permits, isolations, RAMS and controlled-area documentation.
  • Monitoring progress, productivity and adherence to programme requirements.
  • Supporting behavioural safety and incident reporting.
  • Maintaining high housekeeping and safe systems of work.
  • Acting as the primary contact for electrical delivery teams and site management.

Role Overview

We are recruiting an experienced White Hat Electrical Supervisor to oversee electrical delivery teams at Hinkley Point C, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient execution of works within a highly regulated nuclear-construction environment. This role requires strong leadership, disciplined safety behaviours and the ability to coordinate multi-trade operations while maintaining full compliance with nuclear standards, ECS requirements and site governance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Supervision of electrical teams across designated HPC work zones
  • Leading daily briefings, toolbox talks and coordination meetings
  • Ensuring all electrical works comply with nuclear safety rules, quality assurance processes
  • Reviewing and approving permits, isolations, RAMS and controlled-area documentation
  • Monitoring progress, productivity and adherence to programme requirements
  • Supporting behavioural safety, hazard identification and incident reporting
  • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and ensuring safe systems of work are consistently applied
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for electrical delivery teams, site management and interface contractors

Requirements

  • ECS Supervisor/Gold Card or equivalent recognised supervisory qualification
  • Demonstrable experience supervising electrical teams on large-scale construction or infrastructure projects
  • Strong understanding of nuclear-regulated environments, compliance protocols and controlled-area working
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage workflow and uphold safety culture
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Willingness to complete HPC onboarding, vetting and mandatory nuclear-compliance training
