Job Title: Electrical Supervisor

Location: Lincoln

Duration: Over 12 Months

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee the electrical installation and fit-out of accommodation units on behalf of a reputable contractor. This role is agency-based and ideal for a proactive individual with strong leadership skills and a solid background in electrical systems within construction environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate electrical installation activities on-site.
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with current regulations (e.g., BS7671) and health & safety standards.
• Liaise with site managers, contractors, and agency representatives to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Monitor progress and quality of electrical works, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Conduct inspections and testing of installations, ensuring compliance and certification.
• Manage and support electricians and subcontractors on-site.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and any issues encountered.
• Report daily progress and escalate any concerns to the project manager or agency contact.
  
  

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
• SSSTS or SMSTS (preferred).
• ECS/CSCS card.
• Proven experience in supervising electrical works on construction or fit-out projects.
• Strong understanding of temporary accommodation electrical systems (e.g., modular units, cabins).
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
