1st Step Solutions Ltd in Southampton is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor for an 18-month contract on a school project. You will oversee electrical work and site electricians, scope works, order materials, issue permits and ensure electrical safety compliance on site.

The candidate must hold an Approved Electrician Gold Card, have client-facing experience, and supervisory exposure on commercial projects.

Formación

• Holds Approved Electrician Gold Card.
• Experience in client-facing roles.
• Experience in supervisory/management role on commercial projects.
• Capable of carrying out survey works.

Responsabilidades

• Co-ordination of the installation.
• Supervising contractors and subcontractors and ensuring staff training and H&S adherence.
• Conducting toolbox talks and scheduling materials to meet programmes.
• Liaise with managers and report on works conducted on site.
• Managing variations and ensuring high-quality installation.
• Carrying out site surveys and maintaining snag-free work.
• Paperwork management: RFIs, method statements, risk assessments, site diaries, progress reports.

1st Step Solutions are supporting a National Tier 1 M&E Contractor on the requirement of an experienced Electrical Supervisor for a school project in Southampton. To be selected for the role, you must be hold an Approved Electrician Gold Card, be experienced in client facing roles, and be capable or carrying out survey works.

Job Purpose

\"The responsibilities of this Electrical Site Supervisor role include overseeing electrical work and site Electricians, scoping work and ordering materials, issuing permits and ensuring electrical safety rules are followed.\"

Role

• Co-ordination of the installation.
• Supervising Contractors and Subcontractors, ensuring all direct staff and Subcontractors are adequately trained and adhering to H&S procedures.
• Conducting toolbox talks, ordering materials, completing schedules of work, scheduling materials to ensure programme of works delivered.
• Liaise with Managers on a regular basis, reporting on any and all works conducted on site.
• Managing variations.
• Ensuring the quality of the installation was of a high standard.
• Carrying out site surveys.
• Ensuring the installation was snag free.
• Paperwork management; RFI's, method statements, risk assessments, site diaries, progress reports.

Requirements

• SSSTS/SMSTS.
• Jib Gold Card - Approved Electrician.
• Previous experience in a Supervisory/Management role
• Previous experience of working on commercial projects.
