Our client, established for over 30 years and a global leader in infrastructure solutions, is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor due to ongoing growth and strategic plans for 2024.

Role Overview

Based in Cheltenham and reporting to the Production Manager, the successful candidate will supervise Junior and Senior Electricians, ensuring site compliance with industry standards and legislation, including Health and Safety, COSHH, fire regulations, and facilities management. The role is hands-on, involving electrical installation, testing, and commissioning, with an approximate split of 80% hands-on work and 20% planning and supervision.

Key Responsibilities

1. Supervise electrical teams and ensure compliance with safety and industry standards.
2. Develop and implement electrical testing regimes to meet British, European, and International standards, as well as HSE requirements.
3. Plan electrical resources, including labor and materials, to meet project demands.
4. Collaborate with the Fleet Department and Production Managers to maintain electrical systems within units.
5. Work with tenders and suppliers to ensure best value solutions and develop electrical schemes from design drawings for costing and tendering.
6. Calculate electrical loads and review configurations to maximize standardization and efficiency.
7. Advise on electrical installations and manage stock levels to optimize costs and environmental impact.

Candidate Requirements

• Fully qualified (17th/18th Edition, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
• Proven experience in electrical installation and maintenance, preferably with commercial kitchens and modular buildings.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations and testing (C&G 2391/2394/95 or equivalent).
• Full UK driving license.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience, ideally with a management qualification or diploma.
