Lead Electrical Tester/Supervisor. (non working)

A great opportunity to join a young and growing team based in Essex, who specialise in complete full rewires of schools and social housing projects around the M25.

Hybrid working that involves making site visits to schools making sure on-site testers are carrying out testing correctly and working in the office or remote filling in test sheets.

Placed through an NICEIC QS course, laptop, company car and fuel card all supplied.

Out of term time - 8:00 - 16:00

In term time - 16:00 - 22:00

Requirements;

• Full UK driving licence
• SSSTS or SMSTS (desirable)
• ECS Gold Card
• NVQ Level 3
• City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 in Inspection and Testing
• 18th Edition
• Experience as a Electrical Supervisor
• 5 years testing experience
• Ability to read and interpret Electrical drawings
• Ability to fill out test sheets & use software

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the Electrical testers on each site.
• Fill out test results onto test sheets.
• Ensure testing is completed on time.
• Liaise with the office and on-site team of both Electrical contractor and Building contractor.
• Monitor and review the performance of Electrical testers and provide coaching where needed.
• Carry out all works in compliance with statutory regulations, current industry standards, company quality and health and safety assurance procedures, including ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 Quality, Environmental and OH&S procedures.
• Directly manage the externally contracted and directly employed resources.
• Ensure Health & Safety regulations are observed throughout.
• Ensure deadlines are hit.
