Responsibilities

• Provide on-site leadership and supervision to electrical teams, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring compliance with plans, specs, quality standards and safety regulations.
• Plan and coordinate electrical installation activities with project managers and site engineers, scheduling resources, materials and equipment to meet timelines.
• Conduct inspections and quality checks of works, verifying compliance with drawings and regulatory requirements; address non-conformities promptly.
• Enforce health and safety policies on-site, conducting toolbox talks, inductions, and site audits to maintain a safe environment.
• Manage procurement, delivery and storage of electrical materials and equipment on-site, minimising wastage and controlling costs.
• Provide technical guidance and support to installation teams, troubleshoot issues, resolve conflicts, and ensure timely progress.
• Serve as primary on-site contact for electrical works; liaise with clients, consultants, inspectors and stakeholders; provide regular updates and manage expectations.

Electrical Site Supervisor - Location: Maidstone, Duration: Permanent

The role starts immediately and offers long-term stability with a competitive salary.

• Provide on-site leadership and supervision to electrical installation teams, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Plan and coordinate electrical installation activities in collaboration with project managers, site engineers, and other trades, scheduling resources, materials, and equipment to meet project timelines and milestones.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks of electrical works in progress, verifying compliance with design drawings, specifications, and regulatory requirements, and addressing any non-conformities or deficiencies promptly.
• Enforce strict adherence to health and safety policies, procedures, and regulations on-site, conducting toolbox talks, safety inductions, and site audits to promote a safe working environment and prevent accidents or incidents.
• Manage the procurement, delivery, and storage of electrical materials, tools, and equipment on-site, ensuring availability and readiness as per project requirements, while minimising wastage and controlling costs.
• Provide technical guidance and support to electrical installation teams, troubleshooting technical issues, resolving conflicts, and implementing solutions to ensure smooth progress and timely completion of works.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for electrical works on-site, liaising with clients, consultants, inspectors, and other stakeholders, providing regular updates, addressing inquiries, and managing expectations to foster positive relationships and ensure client satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records of electrical installation activities, including work progress, site incidents, material deliveries, and subcontractor performance, and prepare regular reports for project managers and senior management as required.

• Proven experience as an Electrical Site Supervisor or similar role in construction or electrical projects.
• Relevant qualifications such as JIB, SSSTS / SMSTS
• Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills essential for effective site management.
