HEYSHAM PORT LTD is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to perform reactive and planned maintenance on plant and equipment across Terminals One and Two, including cranes and container handling gear. You will be part of a safety-forward team delivering reliable operation and timely breakdown fixes.
The role requires an electrical bias, PLC knowledge, and the ability to multi-skill while maintaining high safety standards.

Working with a team of Technicians, you will carry out reactive maintenance and planned preventative maintenance in a safe and efficient manner for all plant and equipment across Terminals One and Two including Cranes, CRMGs and Straddle Carriers. You will attend and fix machine breakdowns during operations in a safe and efficient manner, reporting parts and materials needs to the Engineering Shift Manager promptly. You will demonstrate commitment to multi-skilled activity where appropriate, completing required training as and when required.
You will ensure the reliability, availability and safe performance of equipment by timely delivery of the Preventative Maintenance Plan, identifying spare parts needs and liaising with relevant internal teams to ensure stock availability.
Driving and delivering a safe working culture, you will work to safe systems of work for all activities, ensuring SOPs are following and Risk Assessments carried out and reviewed.
