Electrical Shift Supervisor

Location: Heathrow

Salary: £55,000

Join our client on a critical, state-of-the-art commercial building in Heathrow. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Engineering Supervisor looking to avoid the hassle of commuting to Central London. The role offers a great salary, High Voltage training, internal progression, and valuable experience.

This role involves undergoing PPM and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment on site, overseeing the work of another shift engineer, liaising with subcontractors, and strengthening relations with the client.

Shift Pattern: Continental shift pattern (days and nights)

Responsibilities

1. Leading a team of engineers
2. Performing PPM & reactive maintenance
3. Managing single and three-phase power, motors, generators (on/off load tests), UPS, LV/HV switching, shutdowns, emergency lighting, fire alarm tests, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, CRAC units, sprinkler systems, pumps, BMS operation
4. Organising subcontractors and quotations
5. Ensuring health & safety compliance, maintaining logbooks, conducting risk assessments, and managing permits to work

Requirements

• City and Guilds / NVQ or equivalent qualification in Electrical Installations
• At least 5 years of experience in commercial maintenance, particularly in critical environments such as Data Centres
• Experience in high voltage switching and scheduling (desirable)
• Career-driven and motivated
• Polite and personable
