Job summary

Croydon Health Services NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Shift Maintenance Craftsperson (Electrical biased) Band 4 to maintain and repair hospital electrical services, plant and equipment. The role includes fault analysis, testing, installation and preventive maintenance in line with safety standards.

You will work a 4-on/4-off 4-night shift rota and undertake tasks across Croydon University Hospital and related sites.

Qualifications

• Electrical/ mechanical experience
• Trade qualification in a relevant craft or trade.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety essentials.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture, assemble, erect, install and test new installations, services and equipment.
• Undertake maintenance, repairs, minor improvements and capital works as directed.
• Operate within a weekly rotating Day/Night shift system.
