Electrical Shift Engineer

Salary: £40,000 - £44,000 per annum plus £4,000 shift allowance

Location: Warwick

Our client is a well-established UK commercial building services organisation, seeking an electrically biased shift engineer to work on a high-profile commercial M&E maintenance contract.

Working as part of a multi-skilled team, responsibilities include planned and reactive maintenance of electrical and HVAC systems. The shift pattern is 4 days on (2 days and 2 nights) followed by 4 days off.

The ideal candidate will have experience in Data Centre / Critical site engineering & property maintenance. However, our client is also interested in electricians from a building services background who are eager to transition into the data centre industry; training will be provided for suitable candidates.

Required knowledge includes Electrical & Mechanical Plant such as LV/HV Switchboards, PDU’s, UPS, Chillers, AHU’s, Generators, Pumps & BMS. Relevant HV/LV qualifications or the experience to attain an AP qualification are desirable.

Must be capable of working independently, especially during night shifts.

Offered is a permanent position with a salary between £44,000 - £48,000 including shift allowance. Benefits include 20 shifts of annual leave (4 days off, then 12 days off), guaranteed 20 days of overtime annually, and access to industry-leading training and development programs.
