Job summary

Probe UK Limited seeks an Assistant Electrical Services Manager near Mansfield to oversee electrical, utilities and site services. You'll balance hands-on maintenance with fault diagnosis, monitor utility systems and provide weekend site cover to keep production ready for Mondays.

Hours are typically 8:00–16:00 or 7:00–15:00, Monday to Friday, with monthly call-out duties and additional weekend checks. Competitive salary and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum City & Guilds in Electrical Engineering, ideally HNC/HND.
• Production or manufacturing experience is key.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control site utility systems to support production requirements.
• Maintain, diagnose and fault-find electrical and utility equipment, including PLC control systems and variable speed drives.
• Carry out routine maintenance and respond to faults.
• Support operation of compressors, boilers, water treatment plant and fire sprinkler systems.
• Produce basic reports and maintain clear records.
• Provide utility cover, including call-out rota and weekend site checks.
