Job summary

RVT Group is seeking an Electrotechnical Service Technician to ensure our workshop runs smoothly by inspecting, testing and repairing electrical hire equipment to visual, functional and legislative standards. Training on the full equipment range will be provided.

You will work with fellow electricians and internal teams to keep equipment safe, compliant and ready for hire, contributing to a well‑organised workshop and strong service delivery.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 (2357/2356) is essential.
• PAT 2377 certification is essential.
• Level 3 inspection and testing (2391‑52 or 2391/92) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, service, test and repair electrical hire equipment to standards.
• Complete maintenance and repair documentation accurately and promptly.
• Support day-to-day workshop activities to achieve targets.
• Uphold health and safety standards and ensure compliance.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure parts and tools are available.
• Assist with onboarding new products into the fleet.
• Maintain high standards through audits and compliance checks.
• Collaborate with Hire Desk, Logistics and Sales to keep operations running smoothly.
