Tata Steel UK Limited in Port Talbot seeks an experienced Electrical Section Engineer to lead the electrical engineering function for production-critical crane assets within the Centralised Crane Maintenance Team. You will ensure safe, reliable operation, develop maintenance strategies, and drive continuous improvement across electrical, control and automation systems.

Competenze

• Degree-qualified in Electrical, Electronic, Control & Instrumentation Engineering or related discipline.
• Significant experience in heavy industrial/manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, motors, drives, PLCs, control systems and automation.
• Experience in asset management, reliability engineering, fault finding and continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of electrical standards, risk assessments and engineering compliance.
• Experience using SAP or similar CMMS.
• Proven ability to lead engineers, technicians and contractors.
• Experience delivering maintenance, improvement and capital projects end-to-end.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
