Job summary
Mars Wrigley Plymouth is seeking a Reliability Technician to join our factory team. You will manage day-to-day electrical issues, support FMOS processes, and drive the master plan to improve equipment reliability and safety to world-class levels.
The role focuses on continuous improvement of plant electrical systems, obsolescence management and delivering root cause solutions. You will work with Production and Maintenance to improve reliability and performance while developing your skills within
Qualifications
- Strong electrical systems experience and PLC programming and fault finding.
- Commitment to continuous learning and lifecycle reliability.
- Experience developing equipment and process specifications.
- Basic project management within engineering/reliability projects.
Responsibilities
- Align maintenance and production priorities to factory goals.
- Identify, track and resolve breakdown and reliability issues.
- Attend FMOS meetings and own electrical/controls actions.
- Drive continuous improvement through plant enhancements and RCA.
- Review and optimise planned maintenance for reliability.
- Provide technical support: equipment performance standards and repair specs.
- Maintain documentation and project updates per team processes.
- Coordinate with engineering, operations and partners; share knowledge.
