Job summary

Regen Solutions Ltd in Crawley is seeking an Electrical Qualifying Supervisor to lead and supervise a team of electricians on social housing contracts. You will survey, plan, and sign off EICR certificates while ensuring works meet timescales and client specifications.

You will manage daily site operations, coordinate with management for labour and sub-contractor resources, oversee RAMS and toolbox talks, and report progress using the company software.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds 18th Edition certification is required.
• NVQ Level 3 in electrical installation is required.
• Inspection and Testing 2391 or equivalent certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage small projects, survey, and supervise a team of electricians.

• Manage daily operations to ensure works meet timeframe, specifications and client needs.
• Document work using company software and report to manager.
• Plan, manage and oversee all works incl. variations or delays; notify clients as necessary.
• Coordinate with management for labour and sub-contractor resources on site.
• Oversee materials and deliveries to align with program and project specs.
• Motivate and manage site staff, supervisors, field engineers, and subcontractors to meet targets.
• Ensure workmanship and material standards comply with specs, regulations, and policy.
• Act as primary contact between Contracts Manager and site personnel.
• Oversee RAMS, toolbox talks and documentation.
• Verify all inspection and testing results promptly to avoid delays.

Day-to-Day Duties

• Lead and manage small projects, survey, and supervise a team of electricians.
• Signing off EICR certificates
• Manage daily operations to ensure works are completed successfully within the required timeframe, specifications, and client needs.
• Document work using the company's software and report to your manager.
• Plan, manage, and oversee all works, including variations or delays, and notify clients as necessary.
• Coordinate with management to ensure adequate labor and sub-contractor resources are available on site.
• Oversee materials and deliveries to ensure alignment with the program and project specifications.
• Motivate and manage site staff, supervisors, field engineers, and subcontractors to meet targets.
• Ensure workmanship and material standards comply with specifications, building regulations, health and safety legislation, and company policy.
• Act as the primary contact between the Contracts Manager and site personnel.
• Oversee RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements), toolbox talks, and documentation.
• Verify all inspection and testing results promptly to avoid delays, maintaining due care during verification.
• Stay updated with industry regulations.
• Act as the QS for the company's electrical division and participate in NICEIC annual assessments.
• Demonstrate sound judgment, problem-solving, decision-making, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results for clients and colleagues.

Minimum Requirements (Skills & Qualifications)

• City & Guilds 18th Edition certification.
• NVQ Level 3 in electrical installation.
• Inspection and Testing 2391 or equivalent certification.
• Skilled in fault finding, testing, and inspecting the work of others.
• Supervisory experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and technology usage.
• Experience working on social housing contracts or similar environments.
• Valid driver's license.
• Possess necessary tools.
