Job summary

Holt Engineering Ltd in Poole, England, is seeking an Electrical Quality Control Inspector to ensure electrical assemblies meet quality, technical and workmanship standards within a highly regulated environment.

You will work with production and QA teams, perform line and roving inspections, record results in MRP systems, and support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Electrical Quality Control Inspector or similar.
• Background in aerospace, defence, or a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Experience inspecting electrical or cable assemblies.
• Familiar with IPC 610 / IPC 620 standards (ideally certified).
• Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to inspection.
• Confident working independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out line and roving inspections on electrical assemblies.
• Inspect piece parts, cable assemblies, and completed units.
• Ensure products meet technical specifications and workmanship standards.
• Record and report non-conformances in line with internal processes.
• Log inspection results within inspection records and MRP systems.
• Support root cause analysis and 'Right First Time' initiatives.
• Work closely with manufacturing teams to maintain quality output.
• Attend and contribute to production and quality meetings.
