Job Description: Electrical QC Inspector

The Role
- Execute the inspection and Quality Control activities on site, collecting the relevant records.
- Ensure that all electrical operations are executed in accordance with the relevant Codes and Standards, and Subsidiaries procedures, Quality Control Plans/Inspection Test Plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute specific inspections on material, equipment, and construction/installation activities on site, following relevant procedures, and issuing the relevant Quality Records.
- Issue Quality Records and, when necessary, write and send non-conformance reports to QC Supervisor.
- Check cable laying and cable identification.
- Check and test installation of electrical equipment such as power transformers, switchboards, accumulator batteries, sockets, lighting systems, etc., in accordance with the Inspection and Test Plan.
- Perform visual inspections, dimensional tests, check ratings and materials for connections.
- Perform tests of continuity and insulation resistance.
- Check installation of materials.
- Perform functional tests and cable connection tests.
- Verify workers’ qualifications for special processes.
- Witness tests, controls, and inspections.
- Ensure conformity with the Quality Control Plan, manage documentation, and certify tests, controls, and inspections.
- Ensure proper implementation of approved Inspection Test Plans.
- Collect, manage, and verify documents certifying tests and inspections, ensuring records are retrievable within the final As-Built dossier.
- For subcontractor activities, ensure correct implementation of Quality Control Plans and witness inspections.
- Ensure all master testing equipment is calibrated according to international standards.
What We’re Looking For
- Saudi ARAMCO CBT in Electrical and Instrumentation.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of the National Electric Code/NFPA 70, IEC, or equivalent standards, including Industry Codes and Standards related to Intrinsically Safe Systems and Electrical Systems.
- Minimum 5 years of experience, with at least 3 years in the Oil & Gas industry.
