Job summary

Connect With Limited is seeking an experienced Electrical QA Resident Engineer to provide independent QA across electrical building services installations on a prestigious Cardiff project. The role focuses on design and technical assurance, not just snagging.

You will lead progressive inspections, review design information, verify installations against Employer's Requirements, and coordinate with design, quality and construction teams during the QA period from Q3 2026 to 2028.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical QA on building services projects.
• Ability to read electrical design specs, drawings and data sheets.
• Strong on-site inspection and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Review electrical design specifications and Employer's Requirements.
• Perform progressive site inspections of LV distribution, switchgear and cabling.
• Identify non-conformances and coordinate with design and construction teams.
• Verify materials and equipment installed match approved submissions.
• Maintain QA records, QSOs and close-out documentation.
• Prepare monthly QA reports and support testing readiness.
