Job summary

Blue Fox is seeking an experienced Electrical QA/QC Engineer to join a major General Contractor project on the GC side. The role focuses on overseeing electrical QA/QC activities across the project lifecycle, ensuring works meet specifications, drawings, standards and QA/QC procedures.

You will review ITPs, inspection records, test documentation, coordinate inspections, testing and commissioning, manage NCRs and ensure comprehensive handover documentation, while liaising with management,

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Electrical QA/QC within major construction projects.
• Previous GC/Main Contractor experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical installation, inspection and testing.
• Experience managing subcontractors and quality documentation.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings, specifications and ITPs.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee electrical QA/QC activities on site.
• Review and approve ITPs, inspection records, test documentation and quality procedures.
• Carry out inspections of electrical installation works.
• Monitor subcontractor quality and compliance.
• Coordinate inspections, testing and commissioning activities.
• Review technical documentation, drawings and specifications.
• Manage NCRs, observations and corrective actions.
• Ensure all quality records and handover documentation are maintained.
• Liaise with the project management team, consultants, subcontractors and client.
• Ensure works comply with relevant standards, specifications and project requirements.
