Job summary

Metlen Energy & Metals Plc is seeking a QA/QC Engineer – Electrical to ensure compliance with project standards within our Newcastle division. The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years of experience in electrical QA/QC for power plants, along with a BSc in Electrical Engineering and knowledge of high-voltage systems.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years’ experience in electrical QA/QC for Power Plants, HVDC or O&G projects.
• Experience with completion systems (walkdowns, punch list, turnover).
• Strong knowledge of electrical/instrumentation standards (BS/IEC/ISO/API/ATEX/EEMUA).

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with project HSE standards.
• Support and report to the Site QA/QC Manager on all quality matters.
• Prepare and maintain quality records; report non-conformities.
