Job summary

1st Step Solutions are supporting a Tier 1 M&E contractor on a residential project in Liverpool. We are looking for an Electrical AP/QA Supervisor to join the team on a contract basis.

The successful candidate will oversee QA documentation, snagging with sub-contractors, and close out client and consultant issues. You must hold an Electrical LVAP certificate dated within the last 5 years, along with a Gold JIB Card and SSSTS/SMSTS.

Qualifications

• Electrical LVAP certificate dated within the last 5 years.
• Gold JIB Card required.
• SSSTS/SMSTS qualifications.
• LVAP Certificate (LV class) is essential.
• Good literacy skills.
• Proactive and well-organised with strong deadlines.
• Excellent people management skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete QA documentation including mark ups, snag sheets and installation checklists. Compile with sub-contractors QA and issue to main contractor for inspection.
• Ensure close out of any client and consultant snags in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of work progress, inspections, and testing activities.
• Prepare reports on MEP performance, issues, and corrective actions.
• Maintain effective health and safety systems, including completion of risk assessments, method statements, toolbox talks, etc.
• LV works.
