Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Pump Engineer (Maintenance / Water Infrastructure) based in Edinburgh, Scotland. The role involves installing, servicing and maintaining pumping equipment across commercial, industrial and domestic systems, with a strong emphasis on on-site fault-finding and customer liaison.

You will work with booster sets, pressurisation units, sumps and drainage systems, take part in on-call rota, and benefit from a salary in the £40,000–£45,000 range plus 25

Qualifications

• Requires strong electrical/mechanical engineering background with pumping systems experience.
• Experience working on pumping equipment and related systems.
• Comfortable working independently across customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Install, service and maintain a range of pumping equipment.
• Carry out reactive repairs and fault finding.
• Work on booster sets, pressurisation units, sump sets and drainage systems.
• Conduct system testing and commissioning.
• Perform inspections to ensure equipment is fully operational and participate in the on-call rota.
