Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Pump Engineer for field service covering a local patch. You will install, service and maintain water and wastewater pumps for residential, commercial and industrial applications.

The role offers a £42,000–£45,000 salary with a company bonus, training, certificates, a van, and overall good benefits. Based in Yate with a 30-mile local patch, the position is Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with on-call duties every five weeks (paid at 1.5x)

Qualifications

• Electrical Pump Engineer experience or background.
• UK driving license required.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and maintain pumps at commercial and industrial sites.
• Work on large-scale projects within a local patch (30 miles).
• On-call 1 week in 5 with 1.5x pay and standby bonus.
• 40-hour Monday–Friday schedule, field-based role.
• No overtime requirements specified; benefits include a company bonus and training.
