Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Field Service Engineer with a pumps/water equipment background for a local Taunton role. You’ll conduct on-site maintenance, servicing and fault finding on wastewater systems, ensuring high safety and quality standards, with a hands-on approach.

You’ll join a well-established, tight-knit team of engineers; the role offers a company van, door-to-door pay, regular overtime and on-call opportunities, plus training and progression to develop specialist

Are you a Field Service Engineer with a background working on pumps, water equipment or similar, looking to join a well-established business, who have been operating for nearly 40 years and have a tight-knit team of Engineers to work with and the ability to boost your earnings with overtime and on-call rates?

On offer is an opportunity to work with a small-team of Engineers for a company that has been running for 40 years. Who pride themselves on being reliable, professional and offering long term support to their customers. Providing specialist knowledge to each customer this company prides itself on its reliability and reputation. They are looking for a person to continue to portray their values in their day to day activities.

You will be responsible for conducting on-site maintenance, servicing, fault finding and repairs on wastewater systems ensuring all works to a high standard of safety. To succeed in this position you will need to have a hands on approach, strong problem-solving skills while delivering excellent customer service. You will receive a company van and work a minimum of 45 hours per week.

This role would suit a Field Service Engineer with a background working on Pumps or similar, looking for a local role, with door to door pay, overtime and on-call opportunities to significantly boost your earnings.

THE ROLE-

• Planned and reactive maintenance working with water wastage
• A local role patch of Taunton, with travel opportunity
• 45 hours a week , Monday-Friday
• Overtime and callout 1 week in 5 or 6
• Company van and fuel card.

THE PERSON-

• Full UK driving license
• Electrical/Mechanical/ Pump background
• Looking for a local role
