Job summary

Curve Recruitment is seeking an experienced Electrical Projects Manager to join a leading M&E contractor in Peterborough. You will deliver projects from inception to completion, ensuring safety, profitability and client satisfaction on schemes typically valued from £10k to £1M.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in electrical installations and project management on schemes up to £1m (M&E).
• Strong knowledge of commercial and industrial electrical installations.
• Understanding of contract design and construction drawings.
• Effective planning and project management skills.
• Excellent cost control and ability to drive profitable projects.
• Ability to prepare competitive project quotations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with tender and quotes preparation.
• Day-to-day management of multiple live projects to ensure safe, smooth, and profitable delivery.
• Lead the project team and coordinate with consultants, senior management, contractors and clients.
• Manage materials, labour, sub-contractors, installation and programmes to meet requirements.
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies and CDM Regulations with support from H&S Manager.
• Prepare contractor reports for site meetings and progress reviews.
• Track and report on job profitability.
• Formulate valuations and final accounts.
