Job summary

Emtec Group in Newcastle is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead the safe, efficient delivery of electrical packages across commercial projects, from pre-construction to handover, while mentoring site teams and growing the business presence in the North.

You’ll manage budgets, client relationships, and ensure compliance with Health & Safety, environmental and quality standards, supported by a strong M&E engineering background.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in managing M&E projects across commercial and industrial sectors.
• Strong leadership, communication and client-facing skills.
• Solid understanding of health and safety requirements on site.

Responsibilities

• Lead site and project teams, ensuring adherence to health & safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Manage budgets, reporting, and ensure on-time, within-scope delivery.
• Oversee variations and tendering for additional works when needed.
• Provide technical support to clients and site teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Mentor and develop your team to drive performance and growth.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to secure repeat business.
• Support commercial, design and delivery coordination across contracts.
