Job summary

Bimplus is seeking an Electrical Project Manager to oversee LV electrical works on a range of projects across utilities, industrial and commercial sectors. The role is office based with frequent travel across East Anglia to meet clients, conduct surveys and audits, and ensure quality and on-time delivery.

You will manage finances, prepare designs and pricing, and lead site teams while ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.

Qualifications

• SMSTS and ECS card are essential for site safety and compliance.
• Proven track record managing electrical projects up to £2m (M&E).
• Strong planning and project management skills required.
• Experience with Building Services Contractors at a similar level.
• Broad knowledge of electrical systems and installation methods.
• Strong financial returns on projects, considering all factors.
• Excellent people management and motivation abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Ability to plan, co-ordinate and prioritise workloads.
• Results-oriented and commercially aware.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with clients, supply chain, delivery teams and management.
• Survey, design and pricing against client requirements and standards.
• Manage finances including invoicing and reporting.
• Specify and order materials.
• Prepare method statements and risk assessments.
• Monitor project programme and planning.
• Lead installation personnel and brief the team.
• Conduct site inspections and QC checks to ensure standards.
• Resolve installation and access issues.
• Ensure projects finish on schedule and within budget.
