Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Lead to deliver installations on time and within budget while exceeding client expectations. You will oversee on-site staff and subcontractors, provide day-to-day support, and drive health and safety compliance.

The role involves front-end design and preconstruction input, coordinating with customers at progress meetings, and ensuring proper commissioning of electrical services.

Qualifications

• Experience in renewable and energy sector projects such as Solar PV farms, battery storage, EV charging preferable.
• Experience and understanding in managing design and build projects.
• Delivery of projects as project lead where we are acting principal contracting preferable.
• Proven track record of managing a team and delivering electrical project installations with renewable technologies.
• Prepare Contract Documents i.e. Method Statements, Risk Assessments, RFIs, Technical Submissions, etc.
• Thorough understanding of electrical works and construction processes.
• Prepare handover documents i.e. O&M Manuals and Record Drawings.
• Health and safety on site management.
• Zero defects attitude.
• Flexibility to travel, working between main office and site based.

About The Role:

• To be responsible for the delivery of Electrical project installations on time and within budget, whilst exceeding customer expectations.
• To oversee members of staff and sub-contractors on-site, including day to day support, continual training and to effectively resolve any issues that may arise.
• To play an active part in progress meetings with key stakeholders and customers.
• To ensure that any Electrical services systems are properly installed and commissioned.
• Provide front end design & preconstruction management where required
• To maintain a good, professional working relationship with customers, keeping them updated throughout the duration of the project.
• Assist in client relationship development
• A commitment to adhere to the OCS Group’s health and safety policies and procedures and enforce this where necessary.

Key Skills & Experience
