Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking an autonomous Project Manager to coordinate and safely deliver multi-trade projects across UK locations, from conception to completion. You will manage programmes, liaise with clients and stakeholders, develop proposals, and control costs to meet budgets and schedules; strive to exceed KPIs and ensure client satisfaction.

• Promising Project Manager or Project Engineer looking to advance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver cradle-to-grave projects from conception to completion with safety and CDM compliance.
• Coordinate and report on programme and multi-trade activities.
• Manage projects across multiple locations with mobility.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders throughout all project stages.
• Develop project proposals from client requirements.
• Challenge scopes to improve outcomes for OCS.
• Control costs to meet budget and programme, maximise value.
• Aim to exceed KPIs and ensure client satisfaction.

About The Role

Days of Working: Monday to Friday - 08.00 to 16.30

OCS are seeking an autonomous, motivated Project Manager that can demonstrate a willingness to engage, coordinate and, safely manage multiple trades.

Key Responsibilities

• Understanding of cradle to grave Project Management - Delivery of Projects from conception through to completion. Managing safely and enacting the role as Principal Contractor, compliance with CDM requirements, compilation of Construction Phased Plans, review and acceptance of Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
• Programme and multiple trade activities to be coordinated, reported upon and administered.
• Manage projects across multiple locations. Flexibility and mobility are key.
• Liaising with the client/stakeholders and their teams, throughout all aspects of the project.
• Developing on the client’s requirements to produce a project specific proposal.
• Challenging the proposed scopes to offer improvement and betterment to OCS.
• Managing project specific costs to meet the client budget and programme. Maximising the return for OCS.
• Achieving and exceeding the measurable KPI’s for this contract.
• Ensure client satisfaction.

Essential Hiring Criteria

• Proven experience carrying out project delivery of this nature.
• Demonstrable position as Project Manager or promising Project Engineer looking to advance.
• Self-motivated person / ability to work on own initiative and recognise the need to ask and demonstrate the need for assistance and resource planning
• Deadline driven and committed to the same
• Effective interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills including written and verbal
• PC literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft suite of software, including Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, Project and PowerPoint

• Flexible approach to all work activities (travel between various UK locations
• Ability to work calmly and efficiently in a pressurised environment, articulate in dynamic conversations with ability to steer conversations to suit objectives.
