Electrical Project Manager - Glasgow
£60,000 - £70,000 + Excellent Benefits
Starting December 2024/January 2025

First People Solutions are delighted to be working on behalf of a respected and innovative M&E Contractor based in Glasgow, who are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their growing team. If you're looking for an exciting opportunity to manage high-profile M&E Contracts and make a tangible impact, this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage the full project lifecycle of electrical engineering projects, from initial planning to project handover, ensuring all objectives are met within scope, budget, and on time.
2. Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors to ensure seamless execution and high standards of delivery.
3. Monitor and control project budgets, timelines, and resources, identifying any risks or delays and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
4. Supervise and mentor a team of electrical engineers and on-site staff, ensuring all safety, quality, and regulatory standards are adhered to.
5. Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction and identifying opportunities for further business development.

About You:

1. Strong background in Project Management with significant experience in managing large scale electrical projects.
2. Proven track record of successfully delivering electrical projects, ideally within the commercial, industrial, or construction sectors.
3. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage teams and liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
4. Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering or project management (e.g., HNC, HND, Degree, or PMP/APM certifications) are preferred.
