Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL seeks an Electrical Project Engineer to join a leading manufacturer in Exeter. You will deliver capital projects across electrical infrastructure, building services and production equipment, from concept through to commissioning.

The role suits an established Project Engineer or someone from electrical maintenance, facilities or plant engineering ready to move into a dedicated project position. Mon-Fri days, salary £55k–£57.5k plus bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

HNC/HND or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
Strong electrical engineering background in manufacturing or heavy industry.
Experience delivering or supporting capital projects and site improvements.
Knowledge of three-phase supplies, motors, drives and control systems.
Exposure to facilities services like HVAC, lighting and water systems would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

Leading electrical, facilities and plant engineering projects from concept to installation, commissioning and handover.
Delivering capital projects across site infrastructure and production equipment.
Managing upgrades to electrical distribution and control systems.
Co-ordinating installation, testing and commissioning with minimal disruption to operations.
Developing project scopes, costings and implementation plans.
