Job summary

RGB Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to join a growing engineering and infrastructure team in the South West. The role involves coordinating electrical activities from design through to commissioning on projects valued from £1m to £30m, with hybrid working and occasional travel.

You will bring an electrical engineering qualification and experience across design, procurement and construction, plus strong communication and safety awareness to support project delivery and

Qualifications

• Experience delivering engineering, infrastructure, utilities, industrial or construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate electrical engineering activities throughout the full project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and project requirements.
• Review electrical designs, documentation and supplier information, supporting procurement, testing, commissioning and handover.
• Collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors and external stakeholders to ensure successful integration of electrical systems.
• Provide technical support during construction and installation, assisting with problem-solving, quality assurance and programme management.
• Monitor project progress and ensure delivery within budget and timescales.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and mentor junior engineers where appropriate.
